A drive to Skopje, Macedonia, a train to Thessaloniki, Greece and a plane to Athens. The Plaka is near many of the ancient ruins and is right below the Acropolis. Three days in Athens and then onto the island of Santorini. Athens is a big city and the Plaka is basically in the center of it all. The Parthenon, Temple of Athena and the Temple of Olympian Zeus were the main sites we saw....but also strolled through the Ancient Agora and the Roman Agora (Civic Arenas). It was amazing!
