The Ancient Agora is considered the civic arena of the hill top Acropolis. For you history buffs, I need not explain. The Agora hosted all the city hall, municipal, senate and house of representative buildings. It's considered the area where Socrates would speak his philosophies and was later murdered here for those same ideals. It's amazing how much of the ruins are still in tact after 5,000 years of environment and war. There is also a Roman Agora that was established after the Greek reign. More to come.......
The Byzantine churches are spread all around the Balkans. I toured many of them in Sofia, Bulgaria as well. This particular church was from the 6th century.
