MEDCAP's are Army sponsored medical events, usually held in a remote village where not a lot of medical attention is available. Civil Affairs has organized such events in the past and my team did this while in Iraq. In Kosovo, I'm finding our medical task force organizes them and does a great job doing it. Equipped with pharmacy,ophthalmology, dental, medical and handing out of hygiene products; These medics, doctors and dentists have a lot to offer, not to mention the Greek soldiers (Hellas) are responsible for the area of operation. We handed out some coloring books and crayons to some children with a couple of Hella soldiers you see in photos.
