What better to do on a Sunday in Kosovo than to go hiking in the Sharr Mountain National Park. With the company of 1LT Trudowski, Ukranian Officer and SSG Martin from the Psychological Operations team we hiked for three hours up and two down. We made it up to 7,920 feet and could see Macedonia on one side and Albania the other way. The view was breath taking and refreshing. The sides of the mountains were carved with rushing streams and other experienced hikers from all around Europe. It was a day of spectacular views and re-balancing my energy. The day after my body reminded me of the challenge, but well worth the efforts.
