It has been a while since I made a snow angel, walked passed the canning jars and ran my hands through the soft fur of a dog named Rina. It has been even longer since I hiked along the banks of a river, experiencing her exposed roots. Carrying these images along the way reminds me of a safe home filled with the aroma of fresh baked bread and warm soup on the stove. Even though I go about another day between the rows of desks, computers and the faint smell of something burning in the distance...I remember that someone builds with their imagination a fantastic city made of wood blocks. It makes me smile as I trudge along through another day and I enjoy the reflection.
